The James Beard Award Semifinalist® Welcomes Two All-Star Visiting Chefs
Celebrate Portugal’s Independence Day with a unique collaboration led by James Beard Award semifinalist® Anthony Gonçalves of Kanopi, joined by two standout visiting chefs from Portugal, Ana Lamelas Moura and Michele Marques.
It’s a rare chance to sample the talent of two leading women chefs shaping Portugal’s culinary scene today. Chef Lamelas Moura, an alumna of San Sebastian’s prestigious Arzak and Lisbon’s Eleven, brings the seasonal, Michelin-recommended cooking of her restaurant Lamelas, while Marques of Casa do Gadanha is known for her contemporary takes on regional Portuguese dishes. Together with Gonçalves, the trio will deliver a multi-course menu that captures the sun-drenched flavors and culinary richness of Portuguese cuisine right now.
This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.
