Bryant Park’s Reading Room Hosts Poetry: Poets from Four Way Books with Hannah Matheson

Join us at Bryant Park’s Reading Room on Tuesday, June 16 from 6–7:15 PM for a special poetry reading featuring Isabella DeSendi, Laura Cresté, Peggy Robles-Alvarado, and Ricardo Alberto Maldonado, hosted by Hannah Matheson. Presented in partnership with Four Way Books, this free event brings together four acclaimed poets whose work explores identity, memory, place, and belonging. On select evenings throughout the season, Bryant Park’s Reading Room welcomes audiences to discover award-winning poetry from both established and emerging voices. Enjoy an engaging evening of readings and conversation celebrating contemporary poetry and storytelling, and discover new perspectives through the work of some of today’s most exciting literary voices. Books will be available for purchase during the event.

The Reading Room at Bryant Park is a free, open-air literary oasis in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM through October, it offers a thoughtfully curated selection of books, newspapers, and magazines for visitors to enjoy on the lawn beneath its signature yellow umbrellas or shaded trees. Now through September, the Reading Room offers a lineup of weekly literary programming, including author talks, poetry readings, film discussions, book clubs, and children’s StoryTime.
