American quintet Calliope Brass collaborates with the world’s most prominent creatives to build evocative, story-driven concert experiences for a variety of audiences. Inspired by the eponymous storytelling muse in Greek mythology, Calliope Brass (pronounced “Kuh-LIE-uh-pea”) is most known for its innovative approach to creating interactive concert experiences.
This performance takes place at Bennett Park, near the flagpole. The park contains the highest natural elevation in Manhattan, at 265.05 feet above sea level. Bathrooms can be found in the playground area nearby. These concerts are free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their own picnic, blankets, or chairs, and we kindly ask that you help maintain the cleanliness and care of our shared public spaces.
