Join us at Bryant Park's Reading Room on Tuesday, August 18, from 10:00–11:00 AM for StoryTime with Cali Co Cat! On select mornings throughout the summer, StoryTime brings books to life through interactive storytelling, music, and movement designed for children ages 2–8. Sing, clap, and stomp along as Cali Co Cat and friends share this week's featured book, Sand Cakes by Kallie George, illustrated by Devon Holzwarth. Produced in partnership with Penguin Random House, this free family event also includes complimentary books for children while supplies last.
The Reading Room at Bryant Park is a free, open-air literary oasis in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM through October, it offers a thoughtfully curated selection of books, newspapers, and magazines for visitors to enjoy on the lawn beneath its signature yellow umbrellas or shaded trees. Now through September, the Reading Room offers a lineup of weekly literary programming, including author talks, poetry readings, film discussions, book clubs, and children’s StoryTime.
