Bryant Park’s Reading Room Hosts Poetry Reading with Amy Dryansky, Dan Tobin, Ethel Rackin, and More

Event Details
Join us at Bryant Park's Reading Room on Tuesday, August 18, from 6:00–7:15 PM for a special Poetry Reading featuring Amy Dryansky, Daniel Tobin, Ethel Rackin, and Steven Kleinman. As part of Bryant Park's ongoing poetry series, this free evening brings together four accomplished poets whose award-winning and widely published work spans themes of memory, identity, loss, time, and the complexities of the human experience. From Massachusetts Book Award winners and MacDowell fellows to nationally recognized authors and educators, each poet brings a distinctive voice and perspective to the stage. Books will be available for purchase during the event.
The Reading Room at Bryant Park is a free, open-air literary oasis in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Open daily from 11 AM to 7 PM through October, it offers a thoughtfully curated selection of books, newspapers, and magazines for visitors to enjoy on the lawn beneath its signature yellow umbrellas or shaded trees. Now through September, the Reading Room offers a lineup of weekly literary programming, including author talks, poetry readings, film discussions, book clubs, and children’s StoryTime.
