Before leading acclaimed kitchens in the U.S., chefs Maria Barriga, Juliana Thorpe, and Ignacio “Nacho” Zuzulich worked the line at Mugaritz in San Sebastián, Spain—one of the world’s most influential and exciting dining destinations. For this one night, the trio reunites to collaborate on an exclusive multi-course menu intertwining their culinary journey.
Maria Barriga, chef de cuisine at Brooklyn's Michelin one-starred Oxomoco teams up with husband-and-wife co-executive chefs Juliana Thorpe and Ignacio Zuzulich (who are also alumni of the Michelin three-starred The Restaurant at Meadowood). At their current restaurant, The Lodge at Dawn Ranch, Thorpe and Zuzulich create culinary magic by reinventing California cuisine through their shared South American heritage—Thorpe's upbringing in Brazil’s Matutu mountains and Zuzulich’s restaurant lineage in Córdoba, Argentina.
Expect stunning dishes weaving together Colombian, Brazilian, Mexican and Argentine roots with the rigorous innovation and Michelin-caliber technique honed during their collective years in the Basque Country.
This one-night-only dinner will feature a cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvre upon arrival, an expertly crafted multi-course menu with thoughtfully curated wine or beverage pairings, and a Q&A with the featured chefs.
