Paint a Portrait From Life at the National Arts Club

Looking for a creative way to spend Wednesday evening in Gramercy?

Join contemporary figurative artist Fang Sullivan, a Signature Member and instructor of the Pastel Society of America, for Pastel Portrait Painting from Life at the historic National Arts Club, right on Gramercy Park.

Every Wednesday from 6–9 PM, students paint from a live model while exploring expressive color, drawing, values, and pastel techniques. Fang demonstrates throughout the class and provides individual guidance and critiques in a friendly, supportive environment.

All levels are welcome, from beginners who have never painted a portrait to experienced artists looking to develop their skills. Attend in person at the National Arts Club or online via Zoom.

Try your first class for just $43! Drop-ins are welcome, so there’s no need to commit to a full session before experiencing the class.
