As we prepare to officially close out the summer this week, we wanted to share some fun soft serve ice cream news — cult-favorite food shop and cafe Happier Grocery is teaming up with Heist (the just-launched new speciality coffee company focused exclusively on decaf) to offer a limited-time decaf affogato, starting this Friday September 25th and available for two weeks only. The first 100 customers can enjoy a complimentary Heist Affogato on Friday, September 25, available while supplies last. No purchase necessary. Simply ask for the Happier Heist Affogato at the beverage bar to receive yours. Once the first 100 complimentary affogatos have been claimed, the Heist Affogato will be available for purchase for the remainder of the day and will stay on the menu for two weeks.
Available at the Happier Grocery cafe on 365 Canal Street, the Happier Heist Affogato combines Happier Grocery’s vanilla soft serve with a shot of Heist’s award-winning decaf espresso, for an affogato that can be enjoyed any time of day. The LTO comes on the heels of Heist’s official launch to the public earlier this month, which has already generated buzz from Inc., Express Checkout, Daily Coffee News and more, as interest continues to grow around high quality, specialty coffee that doesn’t come with a curfew.
Available Friday, September 25 from 3:00–7:00pm, and weekly thereafter from 11:00am–7:00pm until October 9.
