Blessing of the Animals, a beloved Marble Collegiate Church tradition, is back on Sunday, Oct. 11, at noon on the Fifth Avenue steps of the historic Sanctuary at 1 W. 29th Street. Marble ministers will be on hand to bless all kinds of animals, including plush toy animals. For pets that don’t travel well, attendees are encouraged to bring photographs of their pets for a blessing. This festive, community-oriented event will take place immediately after the 11 a.m. service.
NOTE: The Sanctuary will be animal-free. All pet lovers are welcome to watch the 11:00 a.m. service with their animals in the lower level Labyrinth Room.
