Event Details
On Sunday, December 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Bideawee will host its second annual “Bright Night in the Park,” a night to remember your late beloved pet during the holiday season. Bideawee is one of the country’s oldest animal welfare and pet adoption organizations.
Whether your beloved pet is buried at Bideawee’s Pet Memorial Park or elsewhere, all are welcome to join as Bideawee staff lights selected trees in its Wantagh Pet Memorial Park and family members hang ornaments in memory of pets that have passed. As cardinals often represent the spirit of a departed loved one, Bideawee is selling cardinal ornaments which it will personalize with your pet’s name.
Participants should arrive to the event 15 minutes early to pick up their ornament and are encouraged to write a special message on the back. During the event, personalized ornaments will be hung on the lit trees. If you cannot attend, Bideawee staff will hang the ornament for you. The evening will include music and refreshments.
Click here to purchase your ornament from Bideawee. Ornaments (one per pet) must be purchased by Friday, December 4, 2026. If you do not wish to purchase an ornament, but would like to attend the event, please sign up here.
