One CUNY professor predicted those measures could extend to faculty.
“Guessing they are foreshadowing furloughing of faculty & other staff, which I think should be progressive & based on salary,” Anna O. Law tweeted.
Furloughs are coming to CUNY. We got an email from the Chancellor laying out the dire budgetary situation and that Deans, Presidents would be furloughed. Guessing they are foreshadowing furloughing of faculty & other staff, which I think should be progressive & based on salary.
