A Dragon Sings & My Kids are Thrilled: Kordan the Wizard
A new children's book is a wild ride dragons, wizards, giants, & cool princesses. Best of all, scan the QR code to hear the music!

Okay, kids and parents: I've got a scoop. In town a new dragon (and wizard, giants, and kings and princesses...) is in town: Kordan The Wizard.
I've got kids always hungry for stories, so I picked up a copy after hearing about it from one of my writing friends. The first thing you have to know is that this book wants you to keep your phone handy (yes, I really said that just now.)
The author David Nos and his musical partner Robert Agner wrote original songs and music, adding QR codes throughout the story, sung by different characters about that part of the book. (In ebook, they use links, my writer friend told me.)

It is such a great new idea. The best part? The songs are for us - yes, for us, parents, too! They remind me of the kinds of songs I hear on some of my Netflix series, like ballads but more Americana, Indie, and that sort of sound. Loved it!
It's geared towards middle school ages, but I've got to admit it: I got hooked too. The dragon is my favorite hero - he's a tough cookie, so he had me at hello. Can dragons be good "bad boys?" Just asking.

The princesses in the book are NOT some pink-covered, made-up barbie dolls (thank you, author David Nos). Instead, they are smart, strong, creative, and leaders, as they should be!
I bought the paperback, but now I'm returning for the hardcover.
Here's the photo of the cover.
I bought mine at Barnes and Noble, but your local store sells it too.
