Election 2020: Here’s Where You Can Vote Early In New York City

NEW YORK CITY — More than 300,000 New Yorkers lined up for early voting and cast their ballots early — and you can do it too.

Early voting in New York City runs until Nov. 1 at 88 polling locations across the city. It’s a simple process — even with long lines — but there are a few things you know need to know.

Here’s a simple guide:

Finding Your Polling Location

Voters must vote at their assigned early voting polling location. The location could be different than your Election Day polling site, but it’s easy to find both at findmypollsite.vote.nyc.

Hours

Each day of early voting has different hours. The New York City Board of Elections announced Tuesday they voted to expand the hours Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The complete schedule of approved early voting hours is:

• Tuesday, Oct. 27 — 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 28 — 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
• Thursday, Oct. 29 — 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday, Oct. 30 — 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, Oct. 31 — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Sunday, Nov. 1 — 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
