Feds Execute Search Warrant At Rudy Giuliani's NYC Home
The search is part of a criminal probe into former Mayor Rudy Giuliani's dealings in Ukraine, according to a report.

NEW YORK CITY — Federal investigators executed a search warrant at former Mayor Rudy Giuliani's home Wednesday.
The search at Giuliani's Upper East Side apartment — which was confirmed by a law enforcement official to the Associated Press —could spell deep legal trouble for the embattled former mayor.
The New York Times reported the search is part of a criminal investigation into Giuliani's dealings with Ukraine.

Those dealings already led in part to former President Donald Trump's first impeachment.
Federal investigators are now looking into whether Giuliani illegally lobbied the Trump administration for Ukrainian officials and oligarchs, who Giuliani in turn was pumping for damaging information on now-President Joe Biden, according to the Times.

FBI officials and U.S. Attorney's office investigators in Manhattan have long-sought to file a search warrant against Giuliani, but were blocked by Trump appointees, the Times reported.
But Biden's justice officials cleared the way for the warrant, which allowed investigators to seize Giuliani's electronic devices, according to the Times.
Giuliani hitched his political fortunes to Trump, but had his reputation fall as he quixotically pursued Ukrainian dirt against Biden and rattled off false claims about Trump's sizable loss in the 2020 election. Former Trump fixer and attorney Michael Cohen — who faced criminal consequences for work under the former president and is now a prominent critic — quickly reacted to news about Giuliani's woes.
"Here we go folks!!!" he tweeted.
