7 NYC Restaurants Open This Thanksgiving

NEW YORK, NY — For those New Yorkers with small, narrow kitchens—or people who simply don't want to deal with the hassle of cooking—there are plenty of restaurants all over the city that are serving special Thanksgiving meals. Patch picked their favorite Thanksgiving dining options to make your holiday as stress-free as possible.
Diners can expect local farm fresh turkeys, all of the trimmings, and mouth-watering signature pies.
Bubby's: Tribeca (120 Hudston Street), Highline (73 Gansevoort St.)

Both Bubby's locations are serving a family style traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Start off the meal with dishes like deviled eggs and buttermilk biscuits, and choose from a roasted turkey or glazed ham for a main dish. Add some sides like cornbread and mashed potatoes, and end your meal with the option of: Apple Whiskey Crumble Pie, Roasted Local Pumpkin Pie, Organic Pecan-Maple Pie, Sour Cherry Pie and Warm Chocolate Bread Pudding. Diners can enjoy the Thanksgiving menu anytime Thursday from 12-9 p.m. The price is $75 per person, and $50 for kids under ten.
Katz’s Delicatessen: Lower East Side (205 East Houston Street)

Katz's is an iconic Lower East Side spot, and will go above and beyond this Thanksgiving to grace New Yorkers with an all-you-can-eat-and-drink Thanksgiving feast from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday. Diners can enjoy traditional favorites, Jewish specialities and more. Patch recommends the latkes, Tsimmes and the apple pie. Space is limited for the Thanksgiving feast, so reserve your spot online for $85 for adults and $42.5 for children under 12.
Freemans: Lower East Side (end of Freemans Alley, which is off Rivington Street between Chrystie and the Bowery)
Freemans is a charming gem hidden down a Lower East Side alleyway. The rugged, rustic atmosphere is perfect for family and friends to enjoy a warm dinner in this cold weather. Treat yourself with a $85 per person ($55 for kids), four-course prix fixe on Thanksgiving day. Patrons will be served mushroom shepherd's pie, sweet potato casserole, turkey with sourdough stuffing, cream of celeriac soup, and more.
The Cecil: Harlem (210 West 118th St)
The Cecil is a one-of-a-kind dining experience that offers Afro Asian American cuisine in an airy brasserie. Noted restaurateur Alexander Smalls is the Chef at The Cecil. He was inspired by travels and his studies of the African Diaspora and aims to connect communities through food, hospitality and comfort. The restaurant is offering a three-course meal Thanksgiving day between 1-8 p.m. for $65. Diners can choose from Afro Asian dishes like collard greens, oxtail dumplings, Poussin Yassa with coconut sticky rice, white sweet potatoes and more.
Jams: Midtown West (1414 6th Ave)
Jams is having a hearty Thanksgiving buffet brunch Thursday morning. It's a perfection location to enjoy your meal while you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as it passes. The prix fixe menu is $75 per person and includes house-made pastries, spiced French toast skewers, individual assorted quiche, smoked local ham, bacon and sausage and more.
Haven Rooftop: Midtown West (132 W. 47 St.)
Enjoy a Thanksgiving feast on top of the Sanctuary Hotel in the heart of Times Square. The prix fixe menu is $65 per person and offers appetizers like Butternut Squash and Crispy Polenta, entrées like Turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce and Havenly Chicken with beurre blanc, mesclun salad and fries, and a variety of desserts. All prix-fixe dinners come with a complimentary glass of prosecco. You can reserve a seat by calling 212-466-9000 or book online on OpenTable.
Treadwell Park: Upper East Side (1125 1st Ave.)
Treadwell Park will offer 20 extensive rotating craft beers and siders, hand-crafted artisanal cocktails and a three-course pre-fixe menu on Thanksgiving day. The pre-fixe menu includes traditional dishes like roasted butternut squash soup, slow smoked turkey and pumpkin pie. There will also be an array of entertaining activities offered all day, like Ping-Pong, 12 big screen TVs and pinball tables.
