MANHATTAN, NY — Looking for something to do? Whether you're ready to enjoy the nice weather or are looking to stay out of the sun, here are the most interesting things for you to do in Manhattan this weekend.
Fleet Week
When: Wednesday, May 32 - Tuesday, May 29

Where: Sailors will be out and about throughout New York City. In Manhattan, check out Pier 92 in Hell's Kitchen.
What: More than a dozen ships have docked in New York City bringing more than 2,300 sailors to the city for a week-long celebration that coincides with memorial day. Sailors will be enjoying their time at shore at various drinking establishments throughout the city. If you're trying to party with sailors, head to bars such as Irvington, Kingside and Mr. Purple, The Roof, Whiskey Blue and The Campbell — all are offering uniformed service members a discount.

Locals can also take advantage of Fleet Week by touring the many ships docked in New York Harbor.
Where: 21A Clinton Street
What: North Coast, which touts itself as "New York City’s premier hip-hop improv team," will perform a completely-improvised "hip-hopera" at Caveat in the Lower East Side. The crew will be impersonating historical figures such as Nikola Tesla and Frederick Douglass and perform freestyle raps in character. Consider it "Hamilton" lite.
"A Midsummer Night's Dream" in Bryant Park
When: May 25, 26 from 7-9 p.m.
Where: Bryant Park Lawn
What: Take in some free Shakespeare this weekend in Bryant Park. The Drilling Company will perform its take on "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on the park's lawn. The performance is part of the Bryant Park Picnics event series — blankets will be free to borrow.
Memorial Day Parade
When: Monday, May 28.
Where: Dyckman Street and Broadway.
What: The big Memorial Day parade in Brooklyn is an annual tradition, but Manhattan has its own parade Uptown. If you don't feel like trekking to the outer boroughs for the main event, head up to Dyckman Street and Broadway on Monday.
