CASTLE HILL, THE BRONX, NY — A dead body was found in a bag in the Bronx after residents of the Castle Hill public housing complex called police about a foul odor Thursday morning, according to New York Daily News and police.

Responding officers found the body of a dead adult, whose gender and cause of death have not been released, in a bag behind a building on Lacombe Avenue, a New York City Police Department spokesperson told Patch Friday.

No arrests have been made as of Friday afternoon, police told Patch.
