Grub Street Names e's BAR the Best Bar on the Upper West Side
Burgers, Beer & Bar Games

A five alarm fire forced UWS e's BAR (511 Amsterdam Ave) to close at the beginning of 2017, with owner Erin Bellard and co-owner Ethan Hunt wholeheartedly inspired to raise money for victims in the adjacent buildings who lost everything. They were just given best UWS bar by Grub Street this week and are reopened with the burgers, cocktails, beer, bar games and their neighborhood vibe which kept people coming back prior to the fire.
e’s BAR is a 2,000 square foot neighborhood joint with great food, great drinks, fun games and smiling people. Brick interiors, patron pictures and a bright shining BAR sign on the wall as well as bar games like Cards against Humanity and darts keep this spot an after-work and weekend hangout. Favorite bites include chips and guacamole, mac & cheese, and crispy sharp NY cheddar balls. Their signature e's Burger is what we come here for, made with grass-fed beef, cheese and their special sauce or their Da Lux, topped with Applewood smoked bacon, onion, lettuce, pickles and fries.
Try their new Pumpkin Moscow Mule, which is perfect for fall and made with crop pumpkin vodka, lemon and ginger beer, topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Additional new cocktails range from The Elixir with Bourbon, Aperol, lemon and rhubarb bitters to a Scorched Earth with Mezcal, Campari, sweet Vermouth and bitters. And don't leave without trying an e's Brownie Sundae. Stop by this Upper West Side bar on Tuesday nights to play a few rounds of trivia from 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. or hangout on Sunday afternoons from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. for Sunday Jams with a live DJ and plenty of rock and roll.
