The 2021 Macy's Flower Show
The 2021 Macy's Flower Show

We are all trying to reawaken after a very difficult year. In New York City, as the winter is behind us and the muggy summer has not yet descended, we have a chance to enjoy ourselves and to feel rejuvenated. The younger professional crowds are starting to pick their heads back up from their work-at-home schedules and their screens and enjoy all that New York City has to offer again. Here are a few of the ways they can do so.

The Macy’s Flower Show is taking place at the store and in nearby Herald Square Park. The show’s theme this year is Give. Love. Bloom and its theme is as uplifting and filled with hope as you would expect. This exhibit will take place for two weeks and includes exotic flowers and plants from around the world. As Macy’s has said, “This season’s show is our gift to the local community for rising to the challenges of last year with resilience & optimism.”

At our gallery, Electrum, the exclusive agent for Phoenix Ancient Art, we currently have a stunning exhibit of world-class antiquities that celebrate women. It’s the perfect way to dress up and enjoy a moment of culture. The gallery at 725 5th Avenue is itself worth admiring, and the stunning antiquities on display at this time make it that much more mesmerizing. The exhibit continues until May 14. For those still glued to their computers, it’s possible, as well, to enjoy our Young Collectors website, specifically geared towards a younger clientele looking to enjoy masterpieces at prices that are attainable.

Glass Ceiling Nomad
Glass Ceiling in Nomad
Obviously, many young professionals are craving companionship and a chance to hang out and eat. There are so many options in the New York City area that it’s impossible to cover even a sliver. The Glass Ceiling is worth mentioning, however, as it’s a hip place in Nomad that overlooks the Empire State Building and its plan is to be not just a hang out, but a location to support emerging businesses.

New York City is calling you back. It’s time to listen!
