If you lost a loved one, read this: Author Bill Leone shares his story
Author Bill Leone lost his wife to a rare illness. His journey into grief led him to write a memoir, "My Life With My Wife," about grief.

When I wrote my first book "My Life With My Life" recently, I was deep in the throes of grief. As a Pastor, I do have tools to deal with grief, and must say that trusting God to lead me forward was a powerful thing!
I was surprised to find that not many authors write about grief and how Faith can help manage this profoundly sad experience.
Grief is a natural response to loss, and it can manifest in many different ways. Some common symptoms of grief include feelings of sadness, anger, guilt, and confusion, as well as physical symptoms like fatigue, insomnia, and loss of appetite. The grieving process can be challenging and can take time, and people may need support from family, friends, or mental health professionals to help them cope.

According to the National Center for Health Statistics, in 2020, over 3 million deaths occurred in the United States, with the leading causes being heart disease, cancer, and COVID-19. Each death can have a significant impact on the loved ones left behind, and it is estimated that for every death, there are about five people who are directly affected by the loss.
While different people may find comfort in different things when they are grieving, some common strategies for coping with grief include seeking support from others, engaging in self-care activities, and
finding ways to honor and remember the person who has passed away. It is important to remember that grief is a unique and personal experience, and there is no "right" way to grieve.
