NEW YORK CITY — Mass vaccination sites at Javits Center, Yankee Stadium and elsewhere across New York City soon will offer COVID-19 vaccine without appointments to New Yorkers 60 and up.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo said those walk-in shots will be offered at 16 state-run mass vaccination sites starting Friday.

"For people over 60 years old — I'm one of them — really no excuses," he said. "Just show up."
