NEW YORK CITY — An unidentified man died after being decapitated by a train in the Bronx, according to a report.

The grisly death Wednesday night was first reported by the New York Post.

The man sat on elevated subway tracks at the Castle Hill subway station about 10:40 p.m., the Post reported.

An approaching 6 train struck and decapitated him, according to the report. His head fell from the elevated tracks down to a sidewalk below, while his body remained above, the Post reported.
