Maspeth Stop & Shop Hosts Grand Re-Opening to Delight of Community

Remodeled Store Features Enhanced Local Offerings and Expanded Ethnic Produce

The Stop & Shop located at 74-17 Grand Avenue in Maspeth held its grand re-opening on Friday. The store has received a complete face-lift, featuring new décor and graphics. Additionally, the store has expanded its offerings of natural, organic, and ethnic products across all departments in order to meet the evolving needs of the community, as well as its meat and deli cheese selection and beer selection.

To celebrate the grand-reopening, Stop & Shop donated $1,000 to The Hour Children Foundation to assist them in continuing their mission to serve those in need in the community. Hour Children is a nonprofit devoted to helping incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their children successfully rejoin the community, reunify with their families, and build healthy, independent, and secure lives.
