MSG Will Host Watch Party For Game 1 Of NBA Finals: What To Know

NEW YORK CITY — Watch parties at Madison Square Garden will be back for the NBA Finals.
The New York Knicks made the announcement on Tuesday with the Garden hosting a watch party for Game 1 against the San Antonio Spurs at 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Tickets apparently sold out within an hour but were intially available on Ticketmaster for $10.

In addition, there will be a watch party at SummerStage in Central Park for Game 1. Knicks fan will need to register for the free event.
The 2026 NBA Finals is a rematch of the 1999 Finals between San Antonio and New York. The Knicks are now four wins away from ending the franchise's 53-year championship drought.

This will be the Knicks’ sixth NBA Finals appearance in franchise history.
Watch parties outside MSG are still banned during the Finals, according to the NYPD.
Six people were arrested following a watch party outside the Garden on May 21. Around 6,000 fans showed up on Seventh Avenue.
Additional details about future watch parties at MSG during the finals have not been released yet.
