New Biggie MetroCard Unveiled By MTA: See It, Where To Buy
Pick up a commemorative MetroCard honoring the Notorious B.I.G. on what would've been his 50th birthday on May 21.

NEW YORK CITY — Call it a Biggie deal.
A new commemorative MetroCard will honor legendary Brooklyn rapper Notorious B.I.G. on what would have been his birthday on May 21, MTA officials announced.
Only 50,000 of those cards will be sold starting Saturday at four different Brooklyn stations, officials said.

"I dare say, they're not gonna last long so move quickly," said Janno Lieber, the MTA's chair and CEO during a Thursday news conference.
"We thank the Notorious B.I.G. for his legacy, especially for Brooklyn."

The Notorious B.I.G. is the performing name of Christopher Wallace, who was tragically killed in a still-unsolved murder when he was just 24 years old.
His life this week is being celebrated not only in his home borough of Brooklyn, but also across the city.
The Biggie MetroCard can be purchased at these MTA station:
- Lafayette Avenue
- Clinton-Washington Avenue
- Clinton-Washington Avenue
- Atlantic Avenue – Barclays Center
