Take Mom to Tea - Mansa Tea founder Ashley Lim has elevated her bespoke aged tea and honey pairing workshop from the Mansa The Art of Tea Pairing program with Baccarat Hotel in Manhattan to a virtual experience that you can participate in with mom, virtually. Tickets are $85 pp and Mansa will send you an aged tea and honey pairing set so that you can brew and try the teas with honey in real-time during the virtual class. You will taste three aged teas, learn the fundamentals of tea pairing, and have a guided pairing of three teas with single-flower honey. The set without the workshop is $58 or $78, depending on the size. For each order, Mansa Tea is donating a mask to NYU Langone. Space is limited so reserve your spot ASAP.

Margarita with Mom - Tanteo Tequila has partnered with The Wayland bar in the East Village for “Party in Place” deliveries of a full margarita party set-up delivered by a local bartender. The package includes a full 750ml bottle of Tanteo Tequila, artisanal mixers, garnishes + a bag of chips. The program puts New York City bartenders and bar backs back to work assembling and delivering the packages to your door. The Party in Place service is available every Friday and Saturday and beginning May 5, deliveries will be available Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Orders must be placed before 5:00 PM. Order here.

A Beautiful Mask - Tembo NYC has mom covered this Mother’s Day with a beautiful mask, and for every mask sold one will be donated to a first responder or healthcare worker on the front lines. “When the governor asked for help, Tembo was in the perfect position to do so,” said Tembo NYC founder Deborah Chusid. “Tembo is a social enterprise with a mission to empower women and combat climate change. Having an established partnership with the Artisan Sewing Cooperative where our sustainable totes were handmade at home by immigrant women in Queens, NYC , we were quickly able to pivot and produce face masks.” Tembo has already donated more than 1,000 masks. The Tembo face masks are tightly woven 100% cotton African wax fabric, hospital recommended pleated design to mimic a surgical mask, elastic bands, dual layer with interior pocket to add a personal filter, and are handmade in Queens.

Healthy Care Package - The Goods Mart in Soho is now shipping their Surprise Snack Box, a healthy care package that gives back threefold. The snack boxes are helping The Goods Mart continue to stay open to serve their community, while supporting the small, impactful brands that fill the store and bringing smiles and positive vibes to those receiving boxes. In addition, 10% of each box will benefit Restaurant Worker’s Community Foundation. Choose your gift box size ($20, $40, $60), choose your box type (vegan, gluten-free, paleo/low sugar or anything goes) and they will fill it with favorite healthy snacks like Little Secrets Candy, Bjorn Qorn, Siete grain-free Tortilla chips, Karma nuts and more. You can then choose your recipient or donate a box to a healthcare worker at Memorial Sloan Kettering and Mount Sinai, those without food through The Food Bank of New York, Restaurant workers through Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation.
