NYC Weather: Strong Winds To Sweep Through City
A wind advisory will be in effect from 2 p.m. Wednesday until 2 a.m. Thursday.

NEW YORK CITY – The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for New York City. A wind advisory will be in effect from 2 p.m. Wednesday until 2 a.m. Thursday.
Winds up to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected in the area throughout the afternoon and evening. Strong winds may blow around objects that are not secured, and tree limbs may be blown down. The winds could also cause a few power outages, according to the weather service.
Those who are driving a high profile vehicle are advised to use extra caution when traveling. The most significant impacts of the wind are expect Wednesday afternoon and night.

Wednesday- Isolated showers after 3pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 76. Breezy, with a southwest wind 17 to 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday- Sunny, with a high near 65. Northwest wind 11 to 15 mph.
Thursday Night- Clear, with a low around 50. Northwest wind 7 to 11 mph.
Friday- Sunny, with a high near 69. West wind 7 to 9 mph.
Friday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 59.
Saturday- Sunny, with a high near 75.
Saturday Night- Partly cloudy, with a low around 59.
Sunday- Partly sunny, with a high near 67.
