NY1, MSG Team Up for Special NBA Finals Program

Two iconic New York franchises are teaming up for special programming to preview Game Four of The NBA Finals. Spectrum News NY1, New York’s only 24-hour news network, and MSG Networks are jointly producing a special edition of MSG’s “Knicks Talk Live” powered by Spectrum, looking at the New York Knicks remarkable Finals run. The show will be available on both networks at 7 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 10.

The 30-minute program will feature talent from both MSG Networks and Spectrum News, live from the MSG studio. It will be hosted by NY1’s “Mornings on 1” anchor Pat Kiernan and sports anchor Stef Manisero, with contributions from NY1’s Dean Meminger, whose father, also named Dean Meminger, played for the Knicks the last time they won a championship in 1973, as well as MSG analysts Steve Novak and Wally Szczerbiak. The show will look at what this Knicks season has meant to the city of New York, capturing the electric spirit of everyday New Yorkers as they cheer on their team.

This program will cap off a special day of Knicks programming on NY1, beginning with “Mornings on 1” at 6 a.m., and including a series of Knicks-focused stories and features.

Viewers can find the program on NY1, the Spectrum News App, streaming live and for free on NY1.com and the NY1 YouTube channel, as well as the MSG Network and the Gotham Sports App.

NY1 is available to Spectrum customers on channel 1, and to Xfinity TV customers across Northern New Jersey and Western Connecticut on channel 1125. MSG Networks is available on channel 27 for Spectrum customers and other participating cable partners.
