NYC Coffee Shop Featured In World's Best List: What To Know

NEW YORK CITY — A café in the West Village has ranked in the top 15 of a newly released World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops list.
The list was unveiled at CoffeeFest Madrid 2026 with Arcane Estate Coffee, on Cornelia Street, placing in the number 12 spot.
The café is known for its coffee beans from Panama’s Chiriquí highlands and a diverse menu of drinks.

The annual list, in its second year, evaluates cafés through public voting, professional judging, barista technique, design and customer experience, among other factors.
“We opened nine months ago with the goal of creating a café that could showcase what makes Panamanian coffee remarkable,” the coffee shop wrote in an Instagram post in response to the distinction.

Arcane Estate Coffee is one of nine cafés in the US that made worldwide coffee shop list.
Onyx Coffee Lab, in Arkansas, claimed the top spot on the list this year.
