NYC New Year's Eve Hourly Weather Forecast: Slight Chance of Rain

NEW YORK, NY — Nearly two million people are expected to flock to New York City — some as early as 8 a.m. — to celebrate New Year's Eve and, for the most part, they're in for some good weather.

New York City is looking at temperatures in the low 30s in the morning and rising to the high 30s at night, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Temperatures are expected to peak at 40 degrees from 2-4 p.m.

The only blemish in the forecast is a five-hour window with a slight chance of rain. And the bad news for revelers is that the window lasts from 10 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday — prime party hours.
