NYC Suspends Alternate Side Parking Through Sunday

An earlier suspension by Mayor Zohran Mamdani last week was supposed to end on Monday.

NEW YORK CITY — Alternate side parking will be suspended through Sunday as the city continues to clean its streets and remove snow left from the recent winter storm.

The suspension will be extended another six days — an earlier suspension by Mayor Zohran Mamdani last week was supposed to end on Monday.

Parking meter rules will remain in effect during the suspension, according to the city's Department of Transportation.
