NYC Weather: Up To 2 Inches Of Snow Expected Wednesday Afternoon
Another half an inch of snow and sleet is possible Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

NEW YORK — One to two inches of snow is possible after 3 p.m. Wednesday, with a mix of rain, sleet, and snow expected by 9 p.m., the National Weather Service said Tuesday.
After Presidents' Day, Tuesday morning started off in the low and mid-20s, according to the NWS. Forecasters said the rest of the day would be sunny with a temperature high near 34 degrees.
Temperatures are expected to drop back down to a low of 24 Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, snow is likely after 3 p.m. Forecasters said there is a 70-percent chance of precipitation, and one to two inches of snow accumulation is possible.

"Strong Canadian high pressure will keep the region dry through Wednesday morning, before another low pressure system brings snow and a wintry mix for later on Wednesday," NWS New York NY tweeted. "Until then, it will be cold and dry. Temps this morning are in the low and mid 20s, with teens up north."

Tuesday:
A high of 34 and sunny. Wind chill values between 10 and 20. Northwest winds around 11 mph.
Tuesday night:
A low around 24 and partly cloudy. North winds between 5 and 9 mph.
Wednesday:
Snow expected after 3 p.m., mostly cloudy with a high near 34. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Northeast winds of 7 mph expected to become south winds in the afternoon. 70 percent chance of precipitation with one to two inches of snow.
Wednesday night:
A wintry mix of rain, snow and sleet before 9 p.m., with rain and sleet between 9 and 10 p.m. Rain expected after 10 p.m. Temperatures to rise around 38 by 5 a.m. Wind chill values between 25 and 30. East winds around 8 mph expected to become north winds after midnight. 50 percent chance of precipitation with less than half an inch of snow and sleet possible.
Thursday:
Begins cloudy with a 30 percent chance of rain in the morning before 9 a.m. Gradually becomes mostly sunny with a high near 54. West winds of seven to 13 mph.
Thursday night:
Partly cloudy, with a low around 35.
