NYC Weather: Flash Flood Warning In Effect Monday
The National Weather Service predicts "multiple rounds of thunderstorms" could drop at least 2 inches of rain on the city.

NEW YORK, NY — New Yorkers can't catch a break when it comes to the summer weather. After enduring a brutal heat wave over the weekend, New York City will be hit with powerful rainstorms Monday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
A flash flood warning will go into effect around 12 p.m Monday and continue through Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service warns. All counties in New York City as well as many on Long Island and New Jersey are at risk of flooding.
There's a chance that it could rain in New York for two straight days, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Multiple rounds of thunderstorms may drop at least 2 inches of rain on the city and the surrounding area.

Despite the rain, many New Yorkers may celebrate a dip in temperature. After two straight days of highs in the 90s, Monday's high temperature is in the low 80s. The high temperature on Tuesday is an even cooler 74 degrees.
