NYC Weather: Showers And Thunderstorms Predicted This Week

NEW YORK — Enjoy the sunshine Monday because it's going to be followed by a week of cold, wet weather, according to forecasts from the National Weather Service.

This morning's sun will bring temperatures up to 68 degrees on Monday with clouds and cooler weather coming in later in the evening, the forecast shows. Showers and thunderstorms are predicted for late Tuesday after a mostly sunny day in the low 70s, according to the weather service.

The week will continue with rain and thunderstorms on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with temperature highs less than 70 degrees.

Sun will return briefly on Saturday when the predicted high is 65 degrees.
