NYC ​Woman Struck and Killed By Truck In Hit-And-Run

The victim was struck by the truck in a parking lot over the weekend.

NEW YORK CITY — Police are searching for a driver after an 89-year-old man was fatally struck in a parking lot in the Bronx over the weekend.

Rosa Perry was walking in the parking lot of 691 Co-Op City Boulevard when she was struck by a Dodge Ram pick-up truck on Saturday around 8:30 p.m.

She was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi with an injury to her left foot. Perry was initially listed in stable condition. The 89-year-old was then transferred to a rehabilitation center, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead, police said.
