NYPD Cop Injured At Watch Party Outside MSG, 3 People Arrested
The officer was trying to make an arrest when he was injured by a man outside Madison Square Garden.
NEW YORK CITY — An NYPD cop was injured after police say he was hit in the face trying to arrest a man who had climbed onto an ambulance during a Knicks watch party outside Madison Square Garden.
The incident happened near 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue around 11:15 p.m.
In addition to the man who hit the police officer, two others were arrested, and five were issued summonses.

A 26-year-old man was charged with assault on a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct.
Another 26-year-old was also arrested for resisting arrest, criminal mischief, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct.

A 22-year-old will also face the same charges.
