The gala, which will include cocktails and a seated dinner, will honor Hearst Magazines as well as distinguished architect Peter Marino, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. The evening will conclude with a special musical performance by members of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.

As a prelude to the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s largest fundraising event of the year, the Decorator Show House, the President’s Dinner raises money to provide more than 10,000 young people at ten locations throughout the Bronx with essential after-school and enrichment programs. Since the organization was established over 100 years ago, they have grown into a recognized leader among the 4,500 Boys & Girls Clubs nationally.

This year’s Show House opens to the public for one month, starting on May 2nd at 36-38 East 74th Street in New York City’s Upper East Side. The internationally recognized Kips Bay Decorator Show House features the country’s premier interior decorators and architects, attracting more than 15,000 visitors each year.
