PHOTOS: NYC Marathon Brings Crowds Back To City Streets
The race brought 30,000 runners and crowds of spectators to all five boroughs.

NEW YORK, NY- After a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the New York City Marathon finally returned Sunday to a city that has been eagerly awaiting a return to normalcy.
Albert Korir, of Kenya, placed first place in the men's division and Peres Jepchirchir, also of Kenya, won the women's race.
“It was not an easy race,” Korir said. “But I enjoyed it.”
