Poster House x Angel's Share Pop-Up Event
POSTER HOUSE HOSTS LEGENDARY COCKTAIL BAR ANGEL'S SHARE FOR ONE-NIGHT-ONLY POP-UP EVENT

Poster House, the first museum in the United States dedicated to the global history of posters, will welcome the iconic cocktail bar Angel’s Share for a one-night-only pop-up at the museum in Chelsea on May 13 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Poster House, located at 119 West 23rd Street, Manhattan. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased HERE.
Guests will enjoy a selection of three hand-crafted cocktails inspired by Poster House’s spring exhibition Made in Japan: 20th-Century Poster Art, while enjoying exclusive access to the works that inspired them.
Made in Japan conveys the seismic cultural and political shifts in modern Japan through 73 iconic advertising and promotional posters by designers and artists including Yokoo Tadanori, Nagai Kazumasa, and Tanaami Keiichi. Angel’s Share was a pioneering bar founded in 1993 in Manhattan’s East Village, specializing in Japanese bartending techniques and skills and credited as a trailblazer of the craft cocktail movement. Its original location closed in 2022; a new location will open in the West Village in June 2023.
