One of the most important and prolific political poster artists of our time, Peter Kennard, created some of his best-known posters in the 1980s in response to the growing nuclear threat, combining bracing satire with skewering political dissent. Eighteen of these posters are currently exhibited at Poster House in Fallout: Atoms for War and Peace, which chronicles the global development of the nuclear industry, for peaceful and offensive means.

On June 26, 2025 at 4PM, attendees will hear directly from Kennard in a rare virtual public event. In conversation with curator Tim Medland, Kennard will explain his creative process behind the posters on show and his career as the most important political poster artists of his generation.
