RuPaul's Drag Race Queens Unite for Bold New Anthem

"F.A.B." is a Fierce Summer Bop Led by Drag Queen Océane Aqua-Black

New York City, get ready to strut: a sizzling new track is dropping just in time for Pride Month, and it’s stacked with Drag Race royalty. Montreal’s own Océane Aqua-Black—beloved fan favorite from Canada’s Drag Race—has teamed up with powerhouse queens Kween Kong (Drag Race Down Under), Ra’Jah O’Hara (Canada vs. the World winner), and Silky Nutmeg Ganache (RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars) for “Fake Ass Bitch (F.A.B.),” an unapologetic dance anthem hitting Spotify and all major streaming platforms today.

With its razor-sharp lyrics, head-thumping beat, and infectious swagger, “F.A.B.” is the kind of high-octane empowerment banger you blast while stomping through Hell’s Kitchen in six-inch stilettos. But don’t be fooled by the playful title; the message is anything but shallow. “‘A fake ass bitch’ is someone who hides,” Océane explains. “This song is the opposite. It’s about owning who you are, flaws, fire, and all.”

The track was born from a moment of self-doubt. After 20+ years in drag, Océane felt disconnected from the scene until a powerful reunion with her Drag Race sisters at DragCon reminded her of her magic. Reinvigorated, she hit the studio and enlisted the baddest queens in the game. “I sent them the demo and they were all in,” she says. “Each verse brought exactly the energy the song needed.

Produced by Velvet Code (known for collabs with Todrick Hall), “F.A.B.” blends hip-hop grit with electro-pop glam, and stands as a proud testament to Black excellence in drag. “Black queens are too often overlooked,” Océane says. “This track is about putting us front and center.”

"Fake Ass Bitch" is the lead single from Océane’s upcoming album Shameless, out this fall, and will feature more Drag Race divas including Vanity Milan and Lady Boom Boom. NYC fans, consider this your summer anthem.

As Océane puts it: “Put this track on and strut your city like it’s your runway. You are that bitch.”
