Shake Shack Offering Free Delivery In NYC This Weekend

NEW YORK, NY — What's better than eating a Shake Shack burger? Eating a Shake Shack burger without having to leave the comfort of your own couch.

The popular burger chain — which rose from humble beginnings as a Madison Square Park food cart — is teaming up with online delivery service Caviar to offer delivery at select New York City stores this weekend. It's Shake Shack's first experiment with delivery.

Shake Shack's DUMBO, Flatbush Avenue, Madison Square Park, Battery Park City, Upper East Side, Midtown East, Upper West Side and the Theater District restaurants will participate in the delivery promotion, and Caviar will sweeten the deal by waiving delivery fees. Delivery will begin Friday and end Sunday and each location's delivery hours will vary, but "for the most part orders can be placed from open until close," a Caviar spokeswoman told Patch.

"We're thrilled to team up with Shake Shack this weekend to offer more people a delicious taste of their menu in the comfort of their own home," a spokeswoman from Caviar told Patch.

The entire Shake Shack menu — burgers, chicken sandwiches, flat-top dogs, fries and shakes — will be on the delivery menu.
