Stop & Shop Unveils Remodeled Staten Island Store

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in Staten Island (1441 Richmond Ave).

The Staten Island store is now noticeably brighter and more modern. The store also offers new features centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier, such as:

· Over 1,000 new multicultural products across the entire store, including expanded Kosher and Asian assortments

· Increased grab-and-go meal solutions including a full in-line hot bar, Boar’s Head sandwich station and freshly made sushi

· Larger produce department with additional local offerings for more ways to eat healthy

· Remodeled meat department to make serving the shopper simpler and more convenient

· Improved seafood department featuring an array of proteins

· Expanded dairy and frozen food departments offering a wider array of products, including more multicultural options

· Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

With Flashfood, Staten Island shoppers can now save up to 50% off items nearing their best-by date, such as meats, dairy, seafood, fresh produce, baked goods, and more. Shoppers conveniently browse and buy discounted items directly through the Flashfood app on their mobile phone, and then simply pick up their order from the Flashfood Zone located inside their participating store.

The Staten Island store continues to offer Same Day Pickup, providing local customers with a faster and more convenient way to shop, with pickup available in as little as two hours. Customers can place an order on the Stop & Shop® mobile app or visit www.stopandshop.com, click on “Order Online” and select “Pickup” at their local store. Customers can then head to the store, park in one of the designated Pickup spots, and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car.
