Subway Rider Shoved Onto Tracks After Man Asked Him For Money

NEW YORK CITY — Police are looking for a man who shoved a subway rider onto the tracks at a Manhattan subway station after he refused to give him money.
The incident happened at the Dyckman Street station in Inwood on March 14.

He approached a 35-year-old man and asked for cash. The victim refused and began walking away. That's when the suspect is accused of shoving the man onto the tracks.
The 35-year-old was able to pull himself back onto the platform before the next arriving train. He then reported the incident to police.

The NYPD released images of the suspect on Tuesday. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue pants.
