Summit Sisters Coffee Redesigns Packaging for Elevated At-Home Brewing
Old Hickory, Tennessee-based coffee brand by a sisters duo, continue their father's legacy by crafting exceptional specialty coffee.

Summit Sisters Coffee, a female-led, family-owned roastery, has launched bold new packaging that blends eye-catching design with practical features to make specialty coffee more accessible for home brewers across the country.
Founded by sisters Camie and Chelsea, Summit Sisters was built on a legacy of craft passed down by their father, who started Summit Coffee over 30 years ago. Now, the sisters are carving their own path in a traditionally male-dominated industry, reimagining what it means to enjoy quality coffee at home.
The new packaging, months in the making, is more than a fresh look. It reflects the sisters’ values of heritage, innovation, and approachability. “When you walk into a store, the options can feel overwhelming,” said Camie. “We wanted a design that not only stands out on shelves but also guides coffee lovers toward the perfect brew for their style.”

Each bag includes a roast meter, flavor notes, and brewing tips tailored for methods like pour-over, French press, or espresso. “Coffee is a labor of love from seed to cup,” added Chelsea. “We wanted our packaging to reflect the care we put into every roast and make it easy for people to feel like they’re treating themselves.”
Beyond functionality, the design tells a personal story. The mountain imagery pays tribute to their father’s influence, while the gold foil honors their daily work with a San Franciscan roaster. The turquoise color, a nod to their family’s signature hue, ties it all together.

Summit Sisters aims to empower a new generation of at-home baristas. With rising coffee prices, they see this as an opportunity to make high-quality coffee more enjoyable and attainable. Their mission is also growing offline, their new line is now stocked in over 10 locations nationwide.
To support home brewers further, the brand has rolled out video tutorials, brewing guides, and social media content to inspire creativity. “We want people to experiment, have fun, and discover their own favorite way to brew,” said Camie.
Ultimately, this packaging marks a step forward, not just in design, but in purpose. “This is our invitation for people to join the journey,” said Chelsea. “To connect with great coffee, honor tradition, and feel confident brewing at home.”
