Suspect Arrested After Man Found Dead On Penn Station Subway Platform

The incident happened at the 34th Street and 8th Avenue subway station.

NEW YORK CITY — A suspect has been arrested after a man was found dead on a Penn Station subway platform over the weekend, police said.

Nassadir Tate, 21, has been charged with assault in connection with the Saturday, March 14 incident.

According to reports, the suspect is accused of punching a 55-year-old man in the face before fleeing the scene.

The incident happened at the 34th Street and 8th Avenue subway station just before 7 p.m.

The 55-year-old man was found unresponsive on the platform. He was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
