A drunken man crashed his car into Taylor Swift's Tribeca building in an apparent bid to meet the pop star, according to police and reports.
NEW YORK CITY — A Taylor Swift fan didn't shake off criminal charges after a bizarre incident at the pop star's Tribeca home, according to police and reports.
Morgan Mank, 31, stands accused of drunkenly crashing a car into Swift's building in a botched attempt to gain entry early Thursday, TMZ first reported.
Mank, of Virginia, drove the wrong way down Franklin Street near Hudson Street, reversed his car, and drove it into her building, according to police.

The incident is part of an unfortunate pattern for Swift, who has seen her Tribeca apartment become a magnet for stalkers and deranged fans, including one who used a ladder to climb up to her terrace.
Medics took Mank to a hospital for evaluation and police later arrested him on drunken driving charges, according to police.
Swift's representative did not respond immediately to the AP's request for comment.
