Thank You Mrs. Rivka Oratz - Lev Bais Yaakov Parents Speak
Parents of students attending Lev Bais Yaakov High School attest about their experience with the school staff

“I am so impressed with what I am seeing so far in the little bit of time my daughter has joined Lev Bais Yaakov High School. First of all she comes home with an extra skip in her step - and I am hearing it from all of the mothers I speak to...girls are coming home genuinely happy! And even though the workload is a big jump from 8th grade, things are still manageable and girls are feeling in control while learning A LOT! I was super impressed by the orientation! The teachers are phenomenal! One after the other! They get it! They have their finger on the pulse! Moreover, they keep things interesting! I found myself hanging on to their every word because they were really captivating!
And the principal, Mrs. Rivka Oratz is so warm and friendly, really engaging with all the girls and taking an interest in really getting to know them! You see she really cares about each and every one of them and makes them all feel welcome into the LBY family! From her multifaceted student development through curricular and co-curricular programming, it is more than clear that Rivka Oratz is dedicated to the growth and development of responsible students, who will take their place as leaders in their communities, strengthening Jewish identity and commitment wherever they go.
Looking forward to a wonderful experience here!

On another note, as a shadchan, I see Lev BY alumni who come to meet me, and the way their faces light up when they speak about Lev HS says it all. They all have a real close kesher to the principals/teachers and have only the fondest memories of high school. And when a teacher or principal is called as a reference they REALLY know their girls. Not vaguely. But can tell you real current information on them and really have a handle on what that girl is about. That to me says so much about the school and how much koach is being put into each and every girl as an individual. The warmth and care you find in Lev Bais Yaakov High School is really incomparable. “

Among the parents, expressing their gratitude and accolades to Mrs. Rivka Oratz is the Weiner couple, parents of a 11th grader and alumna. Here is what they had to say about their experience with Lev Bais Yaakov High School.
Dear Mrs. Oratz,
We know that it has only been a short while since our daughter, Elisheva, joined Lev Bais Yaakov H.S. but we, nevertheless, feel compelled to convey our heartfelt gratitude for your inviting Elisheva to join the Lev B.Y. family. We say ‘family’ because the warmth that is exuded by the administration and the teachers creates a family-like atmosphere without compromising the overall professionalism, high academic standards and expectations of the school. Our daughter feels appreciated by Mrs. Rivka Oratz and her teachers, and that her concerns are the school’s concerns. She also says that in her estimation her classmates feel the same. Our daughter looks forward to going to school each and every day. We wish you continued hatzlacha in your genuine quest to produce true Bnos Yisroel
Sincerely,
Parents of 11th grader & alumna
Another parent of alumna, also felt compelled to share her appreciation for Mrs. Oratz and the entire Lev Bais Yaakov Staff.
Dear Lev Bais Yaakov Staff,
I am sure you have heard this from many already. However, I just want to add my accolades as well. Last night‘s Parent Teachers Orientation was very impressive: the team you have built to be mechanach our girls, was beyond belief. I was sitting there last night during the presentations, almost dumbfounded. Many fathers near me whispered to me that with a line up like this they wouldn’t mind going back to high school themselves. You have not only kept in the Lev tradition of getting great teachers, but it appears that you have certainly raised the bar. May you and your team have the Siyata De’shmia to continue to motivate each girl to their maximum potential, personally, and in the service of Hash-m and may you and Rav Shmiel continue to attract the greatest teachers possible for our girls.
Best regards,
Parent of Alumna
