NEW YORK, NY — It's time to make your mother proud and book a table for brunch on Mother's Day. Lucky for you, New York City has lots of top shelf options.
A new list from OpenTable names 12 restaurants in the state as among the nation's best – 11 of them are in New York City.
OpenTable's list comes right in time for Mother's Day, which falls on May 12. And according to OpenTable, 81 percent of diners book brunch reservations for Mother's Day two weeks in advance.

In other words, you're already late if you have not reserved a table.
"On Mother's Day 2018, we seated more diners than any other day that year and recognize that celebrating mom is a priority for our diners," Caroline Potter, Chief Dining Officer at OpenTable, said.
