Tony Bennett Dies at 96: Remembering The Life of An Icon In Photos

NEW YORK — Music icon Tony Bennett died Friday at the age of 96, leaving behind a decades long career that will forever be imprinted in American culture. Bennett died in his hometown of New York and while no specific cause of death has been revealed, the singer was with Alzheimer's disease in 2016.

With over 70 albums, 19 competitive Grammys, Bennett has always enjoyed a lasting affection from not only his fans, but also his fellow artists. From his collaborations with Lady Gaga to his love for San Francisco, here's a look at some of Tony Bennett's career highlights.
